Pearls are such a classic look and have been for many decades. I know I am probably biased but my personal favorite look in pearl jewelry is sterling silver and pearls. Pearl earrings don't have to be dull and boring - the earrings above are anything but dull and are still classic, go-to earrings.

I love the pop of red with a solid black outfit! Gold and red with black is always a classic look. In fact, I think I read recently that red is the new neutral!
Getting new photographs of my chunky sterling silver necklaces and trying to decide whether to use the interesting, asymmetrical black top or the red top, which gives the jewelry a more sophisticated look. It seems that the red top sort of "frames" the necklace so I think that may be better.
Copper is such a great warm metal for fall and winter and pearl jewelry is always classic. The combination of silver and copper provide just a touch of the mixed metal look that is so versatile & popular. Put it on & go - what could be simpler than that?
Happy first day of fall!

A cozy and casual outfit as we start to think about and plan for fall. The fresh white sneakers seem to be all the rage, as do blue (!) fingernails! I haven't quite given over to the blue fingernails trend (yet)....maybe I'll try it on my toes first! All of this fall casual accompanied by a simple tiny triangle with a lapis drop. Each purchase from this collection sends a donation to JDRF, supporting research to find a cure and a preventative for Type 1 Diabetes.
I am so happy to announce that I have been accepted as a "fellow" of the Craftsmen's Guild of Mississippi! I have been a member of this wonderful Guild for almost 10 years and it is an honor to have reached this level of achievement.
This is one of my most popular sterling silver earrings designs ever. They are very free moving with the daisies attached to the small silver circles in the center of the design. Lots of fun to wear and they will easily become your "go to" silver earrings for everyday wear or date night! Silver earrings, silver and gold earrings or silver copper earrings - you choose!

Simple sterling silver bangle bracelets are always in style and truly go with everything you own; alone or in multiples (my personal favorite), they are always the right choice.

I love the combination of red, white and a little red. Those three colors are a classic combination in modern design - jewelry, living room furniture or a cute basic outfit with bright red shoes! You can't go wrong when you put these colors together!

This bracelet can look a little intense at first - maybe it's all that black which is so serious looking or just the fact that it looks almost like a solid "cuff" bracelet - how can that possibly be comfortable to wear all day and into the night?
The secret is in the details, as always. This bracelet is made completely of small, precisely measured rings, with comfort in mind. If I made the rings were a little smaller the bracelet would be looser and not nearly so cool looking! If they were larger the bracelet would be, you guessed it, very stiff and, yes, uncomfortable to wear.
So for comfort, it's all about the size of the rings!

At the beginning of this year, we talked about New Year's "Hopes"; #2 on the list was "Choose to focus on the things that matter to us, whatever they may be." Here is a link to that post.

One of the things that makes my life meaningful is raising awareness of Type 1 Diabetes and the efforts to find a cure for T1D by JDRF.
A little collection of Asian inspired "Yin Yang" earrings in sterling silver with tiny gemstone drops. Although I love gemstones, I don't use a lot of them in my jewelry but when I do, I like to provide lots of choices. Go here to see other earrings designs with gemstones.

I love the new black and blush combinations I am starting to see. Just right for end of the summer, back to school or early fall/transitional wear to work or shopping. The JDRF collection looks great with this combination - simply enough to blend with the overall look, different enough to get you plenty of compliments as you go about your day!

My husband and I love to travel and our favorite mode of transportation is by car - that way, we don't miss anything along the way. Since both of our boys live on the west coast, we drive out to visit them whenever we can.
We recently got back from a trip to Seattle to visit our younger son. We had a great trip and I came back with so much inspiration & so many new ideas for jewelry designs! It's funny how just getting out of your normal routine can be so inspirational.
We stayed at Yellowstone National Park for a few days - what a wonderful place to truly "get away from it all"! No tv, no internet.....peaceful!

One of our favorite things was taking the "Water Taxi" from downtown Seattle across to west Seattle, where our son lives!!
We came into Seattle by way of Mt. Rainier and we were lucky enough to have a perfectly clear day! What an unbelievable sight this mountain is - so BIG!
