I am thankful for many many things. My almost 91 year old dad came to my house for Thanksgiving this year, as he has done for so many years. I had a houseful of loving family for the holiday for which I am unbelievably grateful. I am grateful for each of you who read my blog and help me support my family doing what I love. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Click here to join our circle of handmade jewelry lovers! Coming up this weekend in Jackson, Mississippi - Chimneyville Crafts Show! These handmade sterling silver rings are all one of a kind because of how they are made. I may post a video of the process within the next couple of weeks so stay tuned!
My attention is turning to Thanksgiving - lots of family coming in for the holiday and the house is a wreck, of course......I need to remember to breathe and say "it will all be ok"....because it will! Black and gray can be so lovely! The gray gives a little "break" from solid black but still looks fresh all fall into the winter! A little silvery touch would be nice too, for the holidays! Black flats are so versatile and comfortable - I think this is a "must have" in your shoe wardrobe - what do you think? So happy to be able to participate in the wonderful Covington Three Rivers Arts Festival this weekend, November 11 - 12! This has always been a great show and will be better this year than ever -perfect weather forecast and lots and lots of wonderful handmade art! Click here to join our circle of jewelry lovers!
Yesterday, I had the most wonderful surprise!
My friend, Eleanor, who I have known for many years contacted me out of the blue and offered to volunteer her time to help me with my jewelry business during this busy holiday season!! I was completely overwhelmed with her generous offer. She came to my studio yesterday and helped me with so many small tasks that would have taken me hours to do. Meanwhile I was able to be in my studio making jewelry while she was happy completing other tasks! The Baton Rouge Arts Market will be in a different location tomorrow, Saturday, November 4th. We will be at 555 Laurel Street - just one block from our usual location at 5th & Main. Hope to see you there! 8 am - noon
