I had been hearing about this book for awhile so finally decided to buy it and I am so glad I did!
The author identified 10 things that can elicit joy: vibrant color, lushness, nature, symmetry, spheres (which she calls "bubbly forms"), contrast, lightness, invisible forces, sparkle, curving shapes. Ok, so I am paraphrasing a bit here, but those are the joyful things!
One of the most interesting and fun things the author suggests is to keep a "Joy Journal" to just identify where/when/with whom you are currently finding joy in your life.
I am planning to reread this book because just one read through doesn't do it justice!
Have you read it? If not, consider it - i"ll bet you'll enjoy it!
