These are the long version of the sterling silver dangle earrings that I call "Jacks". I have been out of these earrings for awhile now (I guess since before Christmas) and, with a big art show coming up in Miami (Coconut Grove Art Festival) next month, I realized I needed to have a couple pairs of these fab & fun earrings on hand!
So, now these are stocked up....on the next task to get ready for the show!

Tomorrow is the Lunar New Year, also known as Spring Festival - the year of the Rat! Not very picturesque, is it? Rats are depicted as quick witted and clever so it's not all a bad thing!
Those moon phase silver earrings are available on my online store - you can click here to check them out - they come in a couple of different sizes!
Oh, and Happy Lunar New Year to you!
Is it just me or are people friendlier in 2020? Everywhere I go, people are returning my smiles & responding to my comments or questions. It's so refreshing & unexpected, really. I am feeling particulary cheerful following an illness that lasted the past couple of months so maybe that has something to do with how people respond to me.
Whatever the reason, I'm grateful!
Those new silver dangle earrings are now in my online shop - go here to shop the long silver earrings!
These are brand new sterling silver earrings haven't even made it onto the website yet but I was so excited when I finished them, I had to go ahead & put them out here for you to see.

Oh, the hours we all spent playing "jacks" when we were kids!!! I love to think about those carefree, (mostly) happy times. With this silver jewelry, I am reminded of those times everytime I wear one of these pieces! So much fun!! Do you remember?? Go here to check out this fun silver jewelry collection!!
Do you recognize this design? You might because it's a really old design (the chain has been called "Roman Chain" because it's been around since ancient times). Simple and classic! I like to call the design "fortune cookie" because that's what it reminds me of!
Although these pieces are not yet in my online store, you can click here to shop the small earrings or here to shop the larger statement sterling silver earrings or click here to shop tiny silver "fortune cookie" earrings accented with freshwater pearls!
This is a new necklace and earring set - so new that it's not even on the website yet. Pure sterling silver, of course and the necklace is long enough to be worn a couple of different ways. It can be worn traditionally, as shown, or as a lariat with the clasp centered in the front and a long drape of necklace below the clasp or with the clasp positioned in the front at the side - options are good!
The earrings are on my online shop so you can go here to shop those sterling silver earrings but the necklace has not quite made it to the shop yet! Click the button below to join my email list to be first to know when new jewelry hits the website!
These bits and pieces are on the bench today! Lots of women are loving rose gold jewelry right now, especially rose gold earrings. These earrings were a special order and I am making a couple of extra pairs to have at my next show.
They combine the best of all worlds - sterling silver, yellow gold and rose gold earrings!
They are already in my online shop so CLICK HERE to grab a pair for yourself!
These beautiful sterling silver multi hoop drop earrings have been one of my most popular designs since the moment I first introduced them. They are classic but unique enough to be interesting - a nice alternative to a simple and classic hoop earring!

Last weekend at the Abita Fall Fest in Abita Springs, Louisiana, I took advantage of a little downtime to shoot a couple of shots of some of my favorite new silver earring styles!
Love these long silver earrings - bold, fun and unique, all rolled into one cool pair of silver earrings!
These earrings are available in my online store - click HERE to go shop the earrings!
New business cards have arrive and I love them! It's a first design attempt with my new colors of dark lime and bright fushia so I'm still getting used to the whole "colorful" thing (after years of thinking I had to be "elegant" and always black/gray/white).
I have ALWAYS loved color - all the colors! I am really looking forward to doing lots of things with color at art shows and on my website! Yay for color - bring it!!! :)
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month - these earrings honor all the women we have known who fight breast cancer. Think Pink this month in their honor.

The earrings inspired by the game of jacks have been my most popular earrings for a long time (go here to see the original "jacks" earrings) but some people prefer longer earrings. Enter the jacks earrings in this new, longer length. They still look like jacks but a lot more movement & whimsy!
These new silver earrings are available in my online store now - click here to shop!

I was recently gifted with this precious little handmade copper enameled bowl - I love using it to store just one little pair of earrings. Sometimes smaller is better! The bowl was made by Louise Coulson of www.KingfisherDesignsMetals.com.
Those cute sterling silver bubble blower earrings really work to blow bubbles - so much unexpected fun in the simple things! Available in my online store - go here to shop!

A painting by one of my favorite painters in Louisiana! When so many Louisiana painters are painting scenes from New Orleans, Lauren (https://www.etsy.com/shop/LaurenJHClark) paints what she knows - the sugar cane fields, homes and churches around her hometown of Lakeland, Louisiana.
I have used this painting as a backdrop before - click here if you want another look!
The large square silver earrings are from my new Bold Collection and are availabe on my online store!

Nice earring holder, don't you think? This beautiful porcelain vase was made by Rocky Broome of www.rockyspots.com. Most of her pottery is hand painted but I love this white "sea urchin" vase! I love Rocky's work - go check it out when you have a minute!
I like using this vase to hold earrings - every time I reach for the earrings, I enjoy the vase all over again.
These sterling silver earrings are for sale on my online store - click here to see them!
You might be familiar with one of my favorite collections, the Daisy Chain (AKA Clover Chain) Collection - you can see photos below of the jewelry (or go here to see the bracelet in my online store or here to see the short silver daisy chain earrings online).
This little clover flower was the inspiration for this collection. In some parts of the country, kids made daisy chains or dandelion chains & used them as necklaces, bracelets or crowns but where I grew up, in Arkansas, it was clover chains all day long, every carefree summer day!

Wow! These silver earrings are supersized!
If you love the original jacks earrings (below), but you prefer larger earrings, you'll love these extra large jacks earrings! Still jacks, still fun ---- just a lot more to love.
These earrings are part of a group of new jewelry I am working on - all around the theme of "jacks".

Today is our anniversary - 30+ years ago today, we got married in a quiet ceremony in Bar Harbor, Maine, of all places! We were both transplants to Louisiana (he from Tennessee and me from Arkansas) and decided to get married then decided (on a lark, really) to take a trip to Maine and get married while we were there. Seems kind of crazy looking back on it but it has all worked out for us!
In honor of all sorts of anniversaries and celebrations, I wanted to share these dramatic black and gold earrings. I love freshwater pearls of all sizes and I think these little oval ones set off the gold and black in the earrings perfectly!
They are available in my online store, so click here if you want to see details & shop!

Last week I was on vacation in my home state of Arkansas, doing a little rockhounding for crystals in Hot Springs, visiting with family, eating barbeque and lots of other fun things.
I needed a few photos of my jewelry on real people so I grabbed one of my sister-in-laws (sisters-in-law?) and asked if I could take a few photos of her wearing a couple of pairs of my earrings. She was happy to oblige!
(The reason for doing this was that earrings are EXTREMELY hard to get good photos on my own ears.....extremely.)

I have recently made a series of 4 or 5 different sizes of these sterling silver square earrings and these are the smallest - so, technically, they are "extra small". As I looked at them when I took this picture I saw that, honestly, they are not THAT small. Relatively small, yes. Afterall the largest ones are 6" around so those are pretty large so, compared to those large square earrings, these are "extra small".
So, I guess I should say that these earrings are the "extra smallest"....so far.

New postcards!! I love these. I designed them to be used for wholesale orders but I think they will be useful for all sorts of things....want a postcard?? :)
I typically use them when I am at larger art shows; I put my booth number on the back & give them out so that people can find me again without having to follow the yellow brick road!
