It's a process, taking photos of my jnew jewelry. First the right camera (the phone is great for some things, like this candid shot, but for great photos, I had to get a new camera. I love this one but, you know, yes, there was definitely a learning curve! Not to mention the remote shutter release to get rid of that pesky shake that inevitably happens when I push the shutter release button on the camera itself. Finally got everything working yesterday and took the photo below -happy with it!!
Those jewelry pieces will be on the website in February...or maybe before. Sign up for my email list so that you never miss new jewelry on the website!
These are the long version of the sterling silver dangle earrings that I call "Jacks". I have been out of these earrings for awhile now (I guess since before Christmas) and, with a big art show coming up in Miami (Coconut Grove Art Festival) next month, I realized I needed to have a couple pairs of these fab & fun earrings on hand!
So, now these are stocked up....on the next task to get ready for the show!

Tomorrow is the Lunar New Year, also known as Spring Festival - the year of the Rat! Not very picturesque, is it? Rats are depicted as quick witted and clever so it's not all a bad thing!
Those moon phase silver earrings are available on my online store - you can click here to check them out - they come in a couple of different sizes!
Oh, and Happy Lunar New Year to you!
Slowly easing my way into 2020 and getting ready for a huge art show in Miami, Florida. The Coconut Grove Art Festival is one of the biggest in the country and this is the first time I will have my jewelry there so, yeah, I am kind of nervous about it! Not only that, but I am pretty short on jewelry to show there so I am in a little bit of a panic right now.
Anyway, I used to make black jewelry with pearls a few years ago & decided to make some more of this jewelry. I love the combination of black, gold and pearls!
These brand new pieces will be on the website very soon so sign up below if you want to be notified when new designs hit the website!!
Is it just me or are people friendlier in 2020? Everywhere I go, people are returning my smiles & responding to my comments or questions. It's so refreshing & unexpected, really. I am feeling particulary cheerful following an illness that lasted the past couple of months so maybe that has something to do with how people respond to me.
Whatever the reason, I'm grateful!
Those new silver dangle earrings are now in my online shop - go here to shop the long silver earrings!
My mom's birthday is coming up and, of course, I am thinking of her. This is a photo of my mom in New York City, accompanying my dad on a business trip. They lived in Arkansas and this trip was a very big deal. Wasn't she beautiful?
Once upon a time, in a galaxy far away, my mom bought this bracelet from me when I was brand new to jewelry making. After she passed away, this sterling silver bracelet came back to me. It's not particularly well made but it is very special to me and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Although I no longer make this exact silver bracelet, you can find a very similar silver bracelet in my online store - click here to check it out!
These are brand new sterling silver earrings haven't even made it onto the website yet but I was so excited when I finished them, I had to go ahead & put them out here for you to see.
