I introduced smaller stitch markers last week and then realized that what we REALLY need, as knittiers, is stitch markers that do double duty!
These sterling silver markers not only mark (and keep up with) your stitches, nestling securely around a stitch or two or a row or two; they also will fit nicely and easily around knitting needles up to a US size 9. Yay for functional and beautiful knitting tools! Did I mention that these stitch markers are not only useful on a day to day basis but are also meant to be handed down to the next generation of knitters in your family? Enjoy! I love to knit and I love to make jewelry so I thought, why not combine the two? I make some silver stitch markers that include gemstones (you can go here to see those) but these newest ones are just a simple little twist of non-tarnish sterling silver wire (love those sweet little balled ends!!). Simple, functional, elegant. AND guess what..... These silver stitch markers make great gifts for the knitter in your family or for the knitter wannabe! Use everyday and plan to hand these down to the next generation of knitters in your family!! Click here to see these elegant, silver stitch markers! Rose gold jewelry (also known as "pink gold") was first popular in the 1800's when it was used extensively by the jeweler Carl Faberge in his Faberge Eggs. Rose gold later gained popularity in the United Stated during the 1920's and was worn in engagement rings and fine jewelry. Rose or pink gold is such a feminine metal - classic and elegant and a little bit different from what everyone else is wearing; it's a really nice alternative to traditional yellow gold jewelry! Want to stand out from the crowd? Try a little rose gold on your wrist!

I spent lots of summer hours as a kid making jewelry out of whatever I had available, usually clover flowers or sometime yellow dandelion flowers (although those didn't work nearly as well as the clover flowers). This bracelet (and the entire Clover Collection) reminds me of those sweet times everytime I wear it! Click here to see the entire Clover Collection & see if you remember, too! I love the look of these black chains - classic designs with a modern black edge, turning the classic into a contemporary design. Perfect with everything, even in the summertime because why not? You can wear black in the summer or accessorize with black!

I decided to start making sterling silver stitch markers using gemstones. More stitch markers are either plastic (no fun at all) or little cutesy things so I wanted to make something different and more elegant that could actually be passed down to the next generation of knitters!!! Here we go!
Want to see jewelry instead of stitch markers? Click here to shop! It's always hard for me to choose new business cards so when my stock runs low, it's a mixed blessing. So many beautiful designs!! How in the world will I ever choose? In the end, I just force myself to pick someone, click "order" & move on. Normally, making decisions is pretty easy for me but, or some reason, this is a challenge for me. I'm happy with these newest ones!
Want to see new jewelry as soon as it hits the website? Click on the button to sign up! These sterling silver earrings with pearls are the best! I know, they don't like like sterling silver right?? That's because I oxidized the silver using a multi-step process that causes the silver to turn black (or kind of a very dark charcoal color). There is just something about that black with the creaminess of the freshwater pearl that I love!
