Visited the beautiful La Nouvelle Lune gallery on Royal Street in New Orleans, yesterday. This wonderful gallery carries some of my jewelry - i'll be sending them a necklace or two next week as well as some earrings. Great visit - that's the lovely Georgette you see in the photo arranging & rearranging the handmade items in the case. Just got back tonight from the Mississippi Crafts Guild gallery in Biloxi - what a beautiful little gallery, filled with all sorts of wonderful handmade crafts! Jewelry (mine & others), fiber art, pottery, stained glass. What a treasure. Go visit if you can - road trip! "Crafts are finally being celebrated for being about today and tomorrow as well as yesterday” I'm working on a slightly new look for the website. I'm trying to "flesh it out" & make it more interesting. Nice change - the site now has a search button! Waaay past time for this feature - welcome to the 21st century, right?? :) Mainly, with the site changes, I would like give those who visit the site more information about who I am and how the jewelry is made. Humans are, by nature, curious beings. Hope you find it interesting. It is a work in progress - stop in now & then to see how I'm doing. Feeling hopeful....hope you are, too.
so, ok, it's a new year. I do wonder what that will really mean to me & others. Can we be hopeful for a better year? I guess it depends on how you define a better year. It's likely to be a normal year for most of us....some ups, some downs and continuing miracles in the form of friends who help us all make it through. have a good one. |
